Poised Cards for Mother's Day

Happy Friday!  Today I thought I'd go ahead and share here on the blog these cards that I made out of the leftover papers from my May Design Team Package from Country Craft Creations.    All of them are A2 (4.25" x 5.5") cards that open from the bottom and are really easy to create.  I used Authentique's Poised 12x12 Paper Collection, Artisan Cardstock and Authentique Spectrum Cardstock.  Each card looks totally different with a bit of layers and different embellishments such as the roses, bows and flat back pearls.  A touch of the Wink of Stella clear glitter pen, really adds to the elegant look.  Even though they don't say "Happy Mother's Day", any of these would be loved by Mom and you could write your own personal message inside.

There's no tutorial video for these as they are so easy to create..  Below are the basic instructions on how to make these types of cards.

I was able to make 6 cards and still have more scraps for a few more.  If you love to make cards, I hope you'll have a go at these.  Remember, any paper collection that coordinates well together would make beautiful cards.

I won't be posting again until after Mother's Day, so I want to wish each of you now  a Happy Weekend and Mother's Day whether you're officially  a Mom or not.
