12x12 Scrapbook Page Layouts--Simple Stories "Happy Trails"

Better late than never, right?  I apologize to my blogger followers.  It was my intention to get this post up much, much earlier today!  I did share these on Facebook yesterday so maybe (fingers crossed) you saw them there.  But I did say I was going to share them here today, so here they are.

I don't do 12x12 layouts much anymore but now and then there's a certain theme or paper line that just speaks to me and says"make a layout."  So I created this double page layout using the left over papers (and a few extra full sheets that I ordered from Country Craft Creations.)  I so love how they turned out and now need to look through my photos and find some for these pages.

Here's a close up of each page....

There's no tutorial for these but you are welcome to CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) the layouts and use what you want for ideas.  Different layers of patterned paper from the collection pull this all together plus the use of some of the cut-a-parts (layered) and chipboard stickers.  I used ferns from various floral packages I had in my stash and fussy cut the flowers out of the paper collection.  I used brown button string and green Hug Snug Seam Binding ribbon from Country Craft Creations for my bows and the buttons were in my stash too.  The photo mat corners are made with a Martha Stewart photo corners punch I've had for several years so don't know if it's available.  The main paper layers are 8" x 8" I think and that's what I used to start layering on to the 12x12 patterned paper. Some of the layers are lifted a bit with chipboard scraps glued underneath.

A few days ago I received my October Design Team Package from Country Craft Creations and today I did a video to share it with you. Oh my! It's a fabulous collection. You are going to love it and want several sets of the whole collection.  It's a wonderful "Calendar" collection by Authentique.  All of it is available right now from Country Craft Creations.  I anticipate that it will be around for quite sometime but just in case, order you some now.  It will be fabulous for calendars, journals, cards etc.

Here's my video on YouTube showcasing this collection.  I received 2 sheets of each design.  There are 4 sheets for each month--Images, Patterns, Sentiments and Solids.  There are several options of how you can order this depending on your budget.  You can order it all of course or order each month set as you need it.  Head over to Country Craft Creations online store, click on Brands and then Authentique.  For now it should be right at the top.

The Hiking Layouts I'm sharing today, are the third and last project I've designed using Simple Stories "Happy Trails" collection that I made in September.  Now that I'm caught up with that, I'm ready to cut into this Calendar collection!  This one may take me a bit longer (maybe all month?) to complete so if you haven't already, head over to my YouTube channel, click on Subscribe and then click the bell so you'll be notified as soon as I upload a new video.

Happy Crafting!

Sandy
