Happy National Scrapbook Day! Fun & Easy Project Tutorial
Well this is quite the different National Scrapbook Day now isn't it? Usually there are crops, crop retreats, sales at scrapbook stores etc. But with Covid-19 still hanging on, most of us are just staying home. But that doesn't mean you can't have a fun weekend. Several of the designers of Country Craft Creations have created some fun album projects and they are on their YouTube channels so you can chose and create one or two or more projects. Tamara, the owner of Country Craft Creations has a live album class going on today on her YouTube channel. You can join in by going to YouTube, searching for Country Craft Creations then click on videos and look for the Live video. It actually started yesterday morning for a few hours. If you missed it, you can still watch and create the album as it will be recorded and saved on YouTube as well as over on her Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations Facebook Group. At the last minute (well 2 days ago) I was able to create this cute brag book type album that I'm calling a Photo Flip Folio. It will hold 20 - 24 photos of uncropped 4x6 size. I used Prima's Fruit Paradise A4 paper pad, brown Artisan Cardstock (7 sheets) and one sheet of medium weight chipboard in the 12x12 size. You'll also need 3 large magnetic snap sets (Basic Grey).
Here's the tutorial video on how to make this Photo Flip Folio (remember if you are reading this in an email subscription, you will have to go to my blog or YouTube channel to watch it.)
One thing, I did use the wider spines sections in this album but think the narrower ones might work better. I've included the measurements for that in the cutting list (which is in the Description of the video on YouTube) in case you want to make them smaller (less space between the two photo sections).
So, that's my project for 2020 National Scrapbook Day! I hope you are all doing well and keep on creating beautiful things!
Happy Crafting!
Sandy
