Wishing You Everything Wonderful
Such a simple sentiment and yet it means so much! For me, it spoke of wishes for Christmas so I made this a Christmas card. A very simple card. You'll notice there are no images on this card. That's because the sentiment is the main focus of the card. That is our new challenge over on Cards in Envy--"Say What?" use a sentiment as the main element of the card.
For this card I used some scraps of a 12x12 paper sheet from Carta Bella "So This is Christmas" collection. I used a stub punch on the corners of the stripe paper and then created a paper ribbon and bow out of the dotted paper. The sentiment is a digital one and I punched it out with my Big Shot and a die. Certainly a quick and easy card to make. You could mass produce this design for your Christmas card mailing list.
If you haven't checked out the challenges over on Cards in Envy, I invite you to do so for this challenge. I'm the host of that blog and challenge and would love to have all of you to join in. We don't give away sponsored prizes but rather focus on choosing our favorite cards that follow the theme and award badges for your own blog. We choose one FIRST CLASS card and then three or more IN THE MAILBOX cards. The only main requirement other than following the current theme is that you must make an A2 card (4.25" x 5.5") for the challenge and it must be relatively flat to fit in an A2 envelope for mailing with no extra postage. A perfect challenge for those of you who create cards for Operation Write Home! So what will your card have to Say.....
Hope you'll join us!
