Celebrate the Season Card Challenge

Well the countdown has really begun!  If you haven't mailed out your Christmas cards, I think you (and I) should get that done tomorrow or maybe just give them with a gift.  We have a new card challenge starting today on the Cards in Envy challenge and the theme is "Celebrate the Season." Which means, you can make any card for the challenge for however you celebrate this holiday season--Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year's etc.  Just remember your card must be flat enough to go in an envelope for mailing though it can be any shape or any size.

I used ALL stash items for this card so I can't tell you the specific products used.  I used white cardstock for the base and the snow banks, pink cardstock for the layer background, snowflake chipboard stickers that came with that cute snowman (I think I've had these for several years and they may have been purchased in the gift wrap section of a store) and an acrylic Christmas stamp from Papertrey Ink.  It was really quick and easy to put together.  The snow banks are cut out with a die and my Big Shot.  Just layer it all up and you are done!

Not sure if I'll be doing much blogging this week or not.  But I will be back on the 26th with a fun album project for Graphic 45 using their 8x8 Mixed Media album AND their new Nature Sketchbook paper collection.  I will also have a post on the 29th for Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts and you won't want to miss that one! It will feature Graphic 45's Cafe Parisian paper collection and some wonderful chipboard elements from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.

Just in case I don't post again this week, I want to wish each of you a wonderful holiday season and Merry Christmas from me to you if you celebrate.  If not, have a wonderful time celebrating however you choose to celebrate!  Oh! If you missed it, I did have a post yesterday for the Last Minute Gift Idea Blog Hop! There are some really great ideas from other designers if you click on their name in the blog hop list PLUS you can win a $100 Visa Gift Card by leaving a comment on yesterday's post AND signing up on the Rafflecopter widget.
