Hope You're Feline Better
Hi everyone! It's the first Monday of August and time for a new card challenge over on Cards in Envy! This time our challenge is to make a card that's flat enough to go in an envelope and use SOMETHING NEW! How fun! We all like to use new craft stuff or techniques don't we?? Yep, I thought so.
For my something new, I went with a new tool and a new stamp set. Upon hearing that the Tim Holtz stamping platforms would be removed from the market, I immediately clicked on Amazon Prime and ordered me the smaller Travel one. So glad I did. I love it. Anyway, that's the NEW tool that I used to make this card and then I used a new acrylic stamp set from My Favorite Things called "Meow Mix." Oh my gosh, I love those stamps. They made the cutest card!
Supplies Used:
- Neenah 110 lb Solar White Cardstock for the base and the image
- My Favorite Things "Meow Mix" Acrylic Stamp Set * NEW
- Tim Holtz Travel Stamp Platform * NEW
- Lawn Fawn Fundamentals Jet Black Ink
- Copic Markers
- Photoplay Julie Nutting 6x6 "Seeds of Kindness" Paper Pad
- Olive Green Button Twine
And that's it. Fun but simple and lots of layers.
I do hope you'll click over to the Cards in Envy CARD Challenge and share a flat card that you've made with something new you have OR it could be a new technique. Just share in your blog post what it is that's new for you and link your card to the challenge blog post.
Here's wishing you a fun and productive week!
Happy Crafting!
