Something Spooky! (a card for CIE)

Hello and Happy October!  Halloween will be here very soon and if you make cards for that holiday, now's the time!  We have a spooktacular card challenge for you for the next two weeks over on Cards in Envy--Something Spooky! Which means Halloween cards (scary or cute).  I decided to make a 5x5 layered card and use Halloween dies for my images.  To make it more vintage, I used a Dymo label maker for the sentiment and different dies for the images on the front.  I also added papers to the inside and a white mat for any message that might be added.

Halloween cards are so much fun to make. I really have a good time with them and love that you can mix and match different paper collections and colors.

Here's what I used on this card:
  • Black Cardstock (I doubled the base to make it thick enough)
  • White Cardstock
  • Simon Says Stamp Halloween Card Kit 2017 Printed Papers
  • Tim Holtz Witch Die
  • Sizzix Thinlits Bats & Tree Dies
  • Dymo Label Maker, Black Tape
  • Simon Says Stamp Epoxy Spider Sticker
  • Art Glitter Glue

I hope you'll join us over on the Cards in Envy card challenge with your own Something Spooky card!  Remember your card must be flat enough to go in an envelope for mailing.

Happy Crafting!
Sandy
