Card Folio Gift Set * Handmade Holiday Blog Hop!

Hello and Welcome! I'm thrilled to have you joining me for the 6th Annual Handmade Holidays Blog Hop! And I'm excited that I got to participate on this fabulous hop for Graphic 45 and ClearSnaps!  Today is Day 1 of the hop and it's all about handmade gifts! I'm sure you will find many awesome ideas during this hop to inspire you as you begin to create gifts for the holidays.  This is a three day blog hop--day two will feature holiday decorations and day three will be about food items for the holidays.  I am only participating for gift day but I can't wait to see what everyone else will be sharing in the next few days.  As a bonus there will be over $500 in craft supply prizes from the sponsors of this blog hop. The giveaway is for 11 prizes of $50+ value each and 11 winners will be chosen - each winner will receive one prize. Winners will be randomly drawn from all contest entries from the 3 days of blog hopping on November 14, 2016.  To enter to win, use the Rafflecopter widget at the bottom of this post.

Here's my gift idea...

I created a beautiful Card Folio Gift Set which is really easy to make (check out the step by step video tutorial further down.)  I patterned and decorated mine with the gorgeously vintage Graphic 45 Ladies Diary Deluxe Collector's Edition Paper kit. I also made six All Occasion cards with the same paper collection to match the folio and I used the Graphic 45 Decades Ink pads by ClearSnaps to stamp the sentiment on each card.  I absolutely LOVE those inks! The colors match perfectly with the vintage colors of the Graphic 45 papers as you can see on the front of some of the cards below.

The folio opens up to reveal two pockets that will hold 3 or 4 cards with envelopes on each side of the folio.  If you don't want to make cards, you could simply add photos or a couple of notepads.

The video tutorial is just for the folio but I'm showing some of my cards below to give you decorating ideas if you choose to put cards in your folio.  My cards are all left blank on the inside so the gift recipient can add their own message.  Even though most communicate by social media, text or emails; there are still those who like to send or receive a beautiful card in the mail and would appreciate this gift set.  You could even tuck in some postage stamps and a pretty pen.
