Little Women Box & Album for Graphic 45

Did you love reading "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott when you were a child?  Perhaps you still enjoy reading it.  And now you can create paper craft projects based on that story with the gorgeous imagery and paper by Graphic 45!  I had the honor of receiving samples of this beautiful collection before it's release to create a project for the Creativation trade show that was held last month in Phoenix, Arizona.  This box and the album it houses were on display at the Graphic 45 booth.

This project is so easy to create because I used the pre-made large rectangle matchbox by Graphic and their large rectangle album. I chose to use the ivory set but black would work nicely with this paper collection too.

When you slide the box open, you'll find the album inside.  In this type of project, it's important to not add extra decoration to the cover of the album but put all the metal embellishments, flowers and ribbon on the top of the box instead as I did with this one.  You can also add some extra decorative items to the inside of your album but be careful as you don't want it to become too thick and not fit in the box.

Here are a few of the inside pages, you can see more in the Graphic 45 blog post that was published yesterday.

If you don't need or want an album and if you are lucky enough to have a copy of the novel that would fit in the box, I think it would be a fabulous place to store it!

I also have a Snapguide Tutorial to show you how I did my Little Women box and album.

If you haven't checked out the post featuring this project on the Graphic 45 blog, I hope you'll head over there and take a look and leave a comment because there's always a weekly blog prize of some of the G45 products.  You could be a winner.  Also in their post, I share some tips, fun facts and a complete supply list.

I hope you're having a wonderful week and maybe we should all go read "Little Women" again.  And if it hasn't already arrived, this Little Women paper collection by Graphic 45 should be in your local scrapbook store or on line stores soon.

Happy Crafting!
Sandy
