In honor of lives gone too soon...Memorial Day

This is a photo I took at the Arlington National Cemetery in the fall of 2014.   The air was cool and the trees had begun to turn on that October morning.  I was honored to be there and quietly took photos of the headstones of so many who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives for our country.  I am so incredibly thankful to each one that lies here and in other cemeteries across our nation and in foreign countries.  To them we owe so much and to their families as well. Today, I am humbled as I take a moment and make this post to honor them.
