Best Witches!
I'm having a great time making Halloween cards for different challenges. This one is for Seems a Little Sketchy Sketch Challenge #50 using an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs. The image is called Annabel. She's a witch eating cake while sitting on a barrel with her broom in a bucket and a pumpkin beside her. She's all dressed up for Halloween. I used a couple of different 12x12 Halloween papers by Reminisce called "The Moon Shine Crew" and " Haunted Clearing" for the background and layers. The black cat and sentiment "Best Witches" is punched from a postcard I had in my stash. I attached it to a scallop circle I punched from black cardstock. Along the bottom edge of the card I added black rhinestones. I colored Annabel with my Copic markers. It was a challenge as I printed up the digital image smaller so as to fit it in with the sketch layout--coloring some of the tiny areas was not easy.
The Seems a Little Sketchy challenge starts today and runs for two weeks. One random winner will receive 3 digi images from Crafty Sentiments Designs but you've got to make a card following the sketch, post it on your blog or online album and link it to the challenge post on Seems a Little Sketchy for a chance to win.
It's a fun sketch with lots of possibilities. You don't have to make a Halloween card, make any occasion card that you need or want.
Happy Crafting!
