Spooky, Scary, Dark and Eerie!

Well, the Halloween season is winding down.  I think I will have just one more Halloween card to share after this one unless I just feel the need to continue spooky, scary crafty fun.  Today's card is for the current Digi Haven challenge which is "Orange and Black."  Now that doesn't mean you HAVE to do a Halloween card.  It just means that is what I think of in relation to orange and black. You could think of something else and if you check out the projects done by the other Digi Haven Designers, you'll see what I mean. Lots of great crafty inspiration over there, that's for sure.  This two week challenge is sponsored by Broken Box Designs which is where these cute Halloween  images came from and they were pre-colored too! That means if you're needing a quick Halloween card or invitations, this would do the trick.  One thing you need to remember if you join in on the Digi Haven challenge--you must use a digi image in your creation.

Since this was a pre-colored image, this card came together quick and easy. I manipulated the images in Word to merge them into one image and printed them up on white cardstock.  I then inked the background with Soot Black Distress Ink.  Then I distressed the edges and added some American Crafts Primio Jute Ribbon for the bow.  The papers are all cut from 12x12 Authentique Thrilling "Foundations" and Teresa Collins Masquerade Party "Webs."  The sentiment is a sticker from my vast Halloween stash.

That's it, a quick and easy card in "Orange and Black."  Hope to see you at the challenge and check back here Monday for another cute Halloween card.

Happy Crafting!
