Itty Bitty Halloween Books!
It's October and time for treats!! Well not, just yet but it is time to start thinking about Halloween and if you give a treat to a special little ghost or goblin, then you might want to check these out! Above is the front of this cute Itty Bitty Book. It is made out of coin envelopes and cute Halloween paper. You make the book out of two coin envelopes, one 12x12 sheet of printed paper and one 12x12 sheet of cardstock. Each Itty Bitty has two pockets for slide out tags and a flip up page plus you can add an optional pocket on the back for a gift card! Each Itty Bitty Book measure about 4 1/4" long x 2 1/2" wide.
Below is the inside showing the flip up page with a place for a photo or journaling/message.
These are so much fun to make that I had to make another one! This one is a bit spookier but still a fun gift for a little monster or witch!
For this one, I added the optional pocket where you could tuck a gift card. This pocket is on the back of the Itty Bitty Book.
The inside has the flip up page. For the tags on this one, I punched a hole in each tag and threaded in some thin black and orange ribbon.
I can't share the instructions or post a video just yet on how I made these Itty Bitty Books because I'm teaching a class at Cat's Creations Scrapbooks store this month for the Halloween version and then I may be teaching a Christmas version at Cat's Retreat in early November.

For more info, click on Cat's Facebook Page and then on Events or go to her website. The class is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. and the fee is $15. You will receive the materials you need to create one Itty Bitty Album. You provide your own adhesive and tools. Come make a day of it at the store by taking my class in the morning and then take Nanci's Tag class (Tim Holtz inspired) in the afternoon! (Pre-registration is required for the classes.)
Last night I made another Halloween Itty Bitty Book and I must say...it turned out SO CUTE!! I will take photos of it this afternoon and post it here on my blog tomorrow. I will have it with me at the store on the 12th for the class attendees to look at. The two shown above are already at Cat's store--stop by and check them out. At the class I will have my box of coin envelopes with me just in case you'd like to purchase a few extra envelopes to make more of these cuties to give away for Halloween!
