White on White card for Cards in Envy challenge
Hello and Happy Monday to you! Today there is a new card challenge over on Cards in Envy. It's a hard challenge but an easy challenge too. How can that be? The theme is White on White. It's hard to wrap your brain around using just white on a card and to think of a design. But once you do, it's so quick and easy to put together and so very clean looking. Of course, it is hard to stamp an image in white and a sentiment so it is okay to use black or other color ink for the sentiment and black for a stamped image but don't color it in. I went with a die image so everything would stay white except for the sentiment "hello."
Here's what I used on my card:
- White Cardstock
- Scallop Square Sizzix Die
- Elizabeth Craft Designs Garden Notes Aster Die #1219
- Stampendous "Hello" Acrylic Stamp from Happy Messages
- Memento Ink - Pistachio
- Sheer White Ribbon
There are some wonderful White on White cards by the Designers on the Cards in Envy blog today. I do hope you'll check them out and then consider making your own White on White card to share for the challenge. if you are having a mental block on a design, think about making a wedding card or a snowy winter/Christmas card. Perhaps that will help you out.
Happy Crafting!
