Here's the Scoop! September class info...

It's on the calendar, the price has been set and you can sign up NOW at Flossie Scrapper in Joshua, Texas  for my TWO DAY class September 22 &23 (Friday & Saturday), 2017 to create this Curio Cabinet and Folio Album that fits inside the back of it!  Call (817) 295-7100 to register.

The fee for BOTH the Curio Cabinet on Friday and the Folio Album on Saturday is $115.  That's TWO projects for that price and it includes all the materials (pre-cut cabinet chipboard kit, hardware, black paint, clear transparency sheets, construction tape, pre-cut chipboard album covers, magnet sets, 32 sheets of 12x12 cardstock and instruction guide for the album.) Of course I'll be there both days to provide instruction, encouragement and entertainment. (Just kidding on the entertainment part.)  This will be for a blank project which means you will bring or buy separately the patterned paper you wish to use on your project. Because of the size of both the cabinet and the album, you will need a LOT of patterned paper-- at least 60 sheets of 12x12 (45 for the album if you pattern each page and  15 for the cabinet) If you sign up for this class and plan on doing your project in the Graphic 45 Master Detective like I did, email or contact me via this website for a list the the patterns I used and how many you will need of each.  Of course, you are welcome to change it up and use different prints from the collection if you wish.  If you are not creating yours with the Master Detective, then you will need to decide on your own what patterns you need for different sections of the cabinet and album.

Due to the size of this project and that we will have to sit one person to a table, space is limited!  I have ordered a set number of cabinet kits and once the class is full, I will not be able to add any more.  So if you love this and want to take the class, call Flossie Scrapper in Joshua, Texas (817) 295-7100 and register ASAP. I also need to know as soon as possible so I can make sure that I'm able to procure enough of the hardware items and magnets and put the kits together.

We will be taking a lunch break each day.  You may bring your lunch, go for fast food or eat at the grill next door.  The class will start each day at 10:30 a.m. and will end at 5:30 p.m.  If you are traveling from a distance for the class, there are several hotels on I-35 in Burleson and also in Cleburne that you could stay at Friday night.  Check with a friend or crop buddy to see if they want to take this class and room with you to share the cost of the hotel.

Please contact me if you have any questions.  Here are photos of the album that fits perfectly inside the back of the Curio Cabinet! It's surprisingly easy to create and will hold bunches of photos!

These are already on display at the store if you want to stop buy and take a look.  The doors do open on the cabinet; however on my display cabinet they are "locked" to reduce wear and tear on it and to protect the items inside which came from my stash and Michael's.

I am in love with this project and not just because it has a "Halloween" vibe but because of the unique design.  It will look fabulous in any paper collection for any theme!

Happy Crafting!

Sandy
