Just for You

The Stamping Shack is hosting a challenge and  the theme is "A Card for Mum."  To clarify, The Stamping Shack is in the UK and in the UK they say "Mum" for Mother or Mom.  So...that's why their challenge is "A Card for Mum."  But you can make a card for Mom or Mother or a Mother's day card.  It's a two week challenge and they give away fabulous prizes for some of their cute, adorable images like this one that I used on my card.  This is "Daisy with Flowers" and I can just see her picking the lovely flowers for her "Mum."  I colored her with my favorite medium, Copic markers.

Copic Coloring List:
  • Skin E000, E01, E11, R20
  • Hair Y21, Y32, E31
  • Bandana, Hearts, Flowers R22, R24
  • Hat, Dress, Flowers R00, R11, RV00
  • Shoes W5, W7 with a White Signo Uniball Pen
  • Leaves YG03
I thought I would share that the doily, flowers and two banners on the lower right corner come pre-printed on the journal type papers in the 6x6  Designer Paper Pad that I used.  It's by My Mind's Eye, Tangerine "The Sweetest Thing" collection.  Love that paper!  The little butterfly that is flitting just above the sentiment is one I had in my stash that I keep on my workdesk.  It was a tiny diecut but I can't remember the brand or designer.

Okay, now it's your turn.  Head over to The Stamping Shack for all the challenge details and create "A Card for Mum."

Oh yes,  today is a busy day here on my blog!  I'm also posting photos of cards for 2 other challenges that I design for in separate posts as well as one for my own March challenge, so be sure to scroll around and see them all.

Have fun crafting!
