Stop & Smell the Flowers
Yes, it's Springtime here in Texas! There have been bluebonnet (our state flower) sightings, other wild flowers blooming and the days are warm! Definitely time to "Stop & Smell the Flowers!" It's also time for another fortnight challenge at The Stamping Shack! And this time the theme is "Spring has Sprung!"
For my card I used the cute "Chit Chat" digi from The Stamping Shack and colored them with my Copic markers. Two cute mouse ladies out for a shopping trip on a a fine Spring day!! I used lots of different Copic Markers for this project.
The papers for this card are actually Valentine papers but I thought they worked great for a Spring card. They are from Crate Papers's 6x6 pad "Fourteen." I also used Bazzill paper flowers and a few silk flowers from my stash. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Papertrey Ink called "Picnic Sentiments." I stamped it on to a piece of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then cut it out in a banner shape. All the banners across the top are cut from the Crate Paper's "Fourteen" 6x6 pad. This card is designed using sketch #117 from My Favorite Thing's Wednesday Stamp Club challenge.
If you are in the mood to create something "springy," head over to The Stamping Shack and link up for a chance to win some of their cute digi images.
Happy Crafting,
