Shabby Chic Birdhouse Card

Well, the title of the digi may be "Shabby Chic Birdhouse" but when you color it, it's not so shabby after all but definitely chic!  This card is for the Digi Haven challenge that goes live today--Spring has Sprung!  It is May and usually here in Texas it feels more like summer by now but we've been having some really odd weather and it was actually VERY cool a couple of days this week.  I hear that some states in the northern part of the country are STILL having snow!  My goodness!  But anyway, this week,  let's all think that spring has sprung. Ha, ha.  For this card I used this birdhouse image from our challenge sponsor Beccy's Place.  I had so much fun coloring it to match the papers that I picked out for the card.  All the papers on the card are from a 6x6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye from 2013 called:  "Sky's the Limit" Find Your Wings and Fly.  I tied a double bow with pink Hug Snug Seam Binding Ribbon and added a Maya Road butterfly stick pin. The image was colored with  Copic markers..

So, whether spring has sprung or not in your area, we'd love for you to join in on our challenge at Digi Haven.  Create a card or project that depicts "Spring Has Sprung" and be sure to use either ribbon or fiber as that's part of the challenge requirement.  You've go two weeks to create and link it up!  Hope to see you there!  Oh yes, there will be a prize from Beccy's Place to one random entry!

Happy Crafting,
