Spring is in the Air!


Ah yes, Spring is certainly in the air!  Even the calendar boasts that on Friday, March 20th it is indeed, the First Day of Spring!  To celebrate, the Cards in Envy challenge is asking for cards that depict "Spring is in the Air" with  Spring flowers, Spring colors, Easter, etc. For my card, I decided to use the beautiful Graphic 45 Time to Flourish paper collection to create a lovely purple Spring card for any occasion.  I just love how these papers are so easy to work with so that your card looks like you spent hours when really it only took a few minutes!


Tools/Supplies Used:

  • Paper Trimmer

  • Scissors

  • Foam Tape

  • ATG Gun

  • Distress Tool

  • White Card Stock (Papertrey Ink)

  • Designer Papers (Graphic 45 Time to Flourish 8x8 and 6x6 paper pads)

  • Ribbons - Hug Snug Seam Binding and Recollections Burlap trim

  • Button Twine (Papertrey Ink)

  • Clear Wink of Stella Brush Pen

I hope that you will make a Spring card for our current Cards in Envy challenge that will run until April 5th.  Your card does need to be an A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envelope for mailing.  The designers select a First Class card and then their own personal favorite from all the entries which will receive a badge for their own blog.
