Custom Colored Layers

It happens rather often....you're creating a card and need a certain shade/color for the mat.  You want it to match as close as possible to the colors in your designer papers or your image.  BUT you don't have that color of cardstock in your stash. What to do?  You custom color a layer.  And it's easy to do! For example, in the card above that I created last year or the year before, I wanted a green layer to accent the image, but I didn't have any cardstock that looked right.  So I took a couple of my Copic markers and colored the edges of white cardstock to create my layer.  Easy Peasy and the color perfectly matches the green of the dress in the image!
