Itty Bitty Books and Bitty Book for Throwback Thursday
In 2013 I created a BUNCH of these Itty Bitty Books--Halloween and Christmas. I taught a couple of classes on them. They are so much fun to make and will hold a gift card PLUS, they are made from empty, flattened toilet paper tubes! Yep, just plain ole cardboard toilet paper tubes.
The are quick and easy to make. You just attach a couple of flattened tubes together, ink or paint the edges and cover with cute, fun papers and then decorate. You can add some tags to a few of the pockets if you want. Now, if you are squeamish about using toilet paper tubes, you can cut cardstock down to the same size and make the little "envelopes" or "tubes" OR you can buy small coin envelopes and make them from those. Also add some flaps and photo mats, whatever you want to make it your own.
Here's what one looks like on the inside:
The ones above I called Itty Bitty Books but I also made a Bitty Book like the one below--
It's made from cardstock and made more like a little booklet.
These are so much fun and since it is the first day of October, I thought these would be a good share for Throwback Thursday.
Happy Crafting!
